What started off as a cloudy morning quickly evolved into one of the most beautiful days spent in Tignes for the British Snowboard Halfpipe Championships in their true-to-size Super Pipe.
Snowboarding’s ‘living legend’ Duncan ‘Dunx’ Worrell took bronze in the fiercely contested Masters division of the Championships at The BRITS yesterday.
“You are in the presence of The British Snowboard Championships Masters (super) halfpipe bronze medalist! Like Gold, but like not so bothered innit?!” commented Mr Worrell after his podium, clearly still totally stoked by his success.
Wearing bib number 70, Worrell was awarded 11.7 point in his best run, coming in just behind winner James Thorne and silver medalist Stephen Hill.
