A 450,000€ investment has been dedicated this year to overhauling the artificial snow network: replacing snowmakers and doubling the amount of equipment in certain zones, as well as ongoing maintenance work to guarantee exceptional snowsports conditions. 440 snowmakers and 13 machine rooms now cover the Val Thorens ski area, and 3 of our piste bashers boast hybrid engines to reduce their environmental impact.

THE 3 VALLÉES FUNITEL LIFT IS HAVING A MAKEOVER!

The new look will be in Val Thorens’ grey and red colours.

2 NEW RUNS TO EXPLORE!

A run accessible to everyone, starting from La Cime Caron. It allows skiers of every ability to descend the legendary 3 Vallées summit: 3.2 kilometres long over a 570-metre vertical
drop. The Boismint sector, loved by early morning skiers, has also been expanded by the addition of a black run.

SKI TOURING: 4 NEW ITINERARIES

After the inauguration of La Camille run last year, the ski touring offer is once again expanding with 4 new itineraries. All you have to do is choose between climbing opposite Péclet’s majestic aiguilles or La Cime Caron for a complete change of scenery that lets you rediscover the Val Thorens ski area. (Ski directly back to the resort)
On offer: 2 to 6-kilometre long routes that let you work your way upwards, as a gentle introduction to ski touring.
