During the sweltering July ‘Heat Wave’ many of us have been seeking the shade, drinking everything on ice and literally feeling the burn of this rare British sunshine, but we’re not the only ones.
The animals of Whipsnade Zoo are also yearning for a little refuge from these soaring temperatures.
In their hour of need, The Snow Centre, cooled things down with a delivery of more than 20 tonnes of snow from their indoor slope north of London to the hot and bothered animals of Whipsnade Zoo.
