Independent chalet operator Skiology is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a bold expansion in Morzine, unveiling three new properties for the 2025/26 season — including a rare catered chateau experience.
The standout addition is Le Manoir, a 1791-built chateau offering five ensuite bedrooms, spa facilities, a cinema room, and a grand dining hall. Sleeping up to 15 guests, it blends historic grandeur with modern comforts, and sits just 200 metres from the slopes, making it one of the most distinctive ski stays in the Portes du Soleil.
The chateau joins Colibri Uno and Colibri Penthouse in Skiology’s expanded portfolio, bringing their total to ten properties across three prime Morzine locations. The new chalets head up Skiology’s Luxe and Signature ranges, designed for skiers seeking style, service, and slope-side convenience.
“We’re so proud to hit the 20-year milestone,” said co-founder Dom Turner. “But we’re not resting on our laurels. Our offer continues to evolve, but our values remain the same — good food, thoughtful service, and a genuine commitment to sustainability.”
Founded in 2006, Skiology has grown from a single chalet in Les Carroz to a loyal following of over 10,000 guests. The company has earned accolades including TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice awards and a win at the London Ski Show cooking competition, while maintaining its independence in an increasingly consolidated industry.
