Off-Piste Awareness Talks launch in the UK with HAT – Henry’s Avalanche Talk

STORY BY Emmanuelle Châtel

Anyone thinking about venturing off-piste this winter, whether they are skiers or snowboarders, can take advantage of the HAT Off-Piste Awareness Talks taking place across a number of cities this October and November.

Dates have now been announced for both The Essentials and In Depth off-piste awareness talks located in London, Tamworth, Bristol, Manchester and Chester.

They commence at Ellis Brigham, Covent Garden, on Wednesday October 25, at 20.15 BST.

The Off-Piste Awareness Talks are a series of live multimedia talks about how to have fun and be safe while riding off-piste this winter season. They cover avalanche awareness and much more – including how you can build your knowledge and confidence to go off-piste with or without a guide.

There are two versions of the talk:

The Essentials – a must see talk, full of ‘essential’ information for all off-piste skiers, no matter how experienced you are.

In Depth – understand exactly how avalanches are triggered (for those who have already seen the Essentials Talk).

Tickets cost £12.50 per person with concessions for multiple purchases. The full list of dates and venues:
