Livigno in Italy has opened a Kids’ Snowpark designed for children as young as three years old as part of its major Mottolino snowpark facility.

The new park, designed to help smaller children learn their first tricks, offers nine obstacles which unusually are completely made of plastic. “We know that investing in children is thinking towards the future in the long term, because it means giving them the chance to enjoy the snow with a free spirit, having fun like their parents, but without getting tired by miles of slopes,” said Marco Rocca, CEO of Mottolino. The nine obstacles, namely the Flatbox, Rainbow Box, Up-Down Box, Box Rail, Beam, Rail for Beam, Pipe, Pyra Pipe and Rattle Kicker, have all been certificated to guarantee the highest safety standards and reliability. The full Mottolino Snowpark is one of Europe’s leading terrain parks and has hosted three editions of the Burton European Open. It covers 120,000m2 (equal to 30 football pitches) and has four lines for different riding levels set from S to XL.
