Teams of firefighters dressed in full fire-fighting attire took to the ski slopes of Sunday River in Maine at the weekend to compete in the resort’s annual firefighters’ ski race – one of several staged at ski areas around the world each year. This was the 28th staging of the race at Sunday River.
Teams of five raced down the slopes whilst all holding on to a fire hose.
