Burton Snowboards have announced they’re organising a summer camp this year based in Cervinia, Italy but staged over the border the Gravity Park Zermatt, Switzerland, from July 26th until August 2nd.
“Living in Italy, riding in Switzerland: The camp offers events like the Game of Snow, Summer Splash Sundays, 2015 Demo House, Italian Style Aperitivo’s, and of course a legendary end-of-week-party at the Max Club!” said a company statement.
Burton Team riders Jesse Augustinus, Wojtek Pawlusiak, Niels Schack, Max Zebe and Ludde Lejkner have already confirmed they’ll be there.
Prices range from €390 for over 16s 7 nights apartment + 6 days liftpass + camp activities to €890 for an under 16 year old package (minimum age 13) including 7 nights Hotel + full board+ 6 days lift pass + 6 days coaching + camp activities + 24h Day Care
Camp Activities will include riding on the glacier everyday between 9am and 1pm with coaching on the pipe, kickers, rails for four hours per day. Afternoon Activities will include visits to the skatepark, a work shop, BBQ, mountain biking, climbing, chill at the lake and aperitivo… Camper can also make use of the Burton Test Centre, discounts in local bars and restaurants, a pool and spa. They’ll also receive a Burton Goodie bag and enjoy the party at the Max Club
