Nendaz truly has ski slopes for every taste. You fancy freeride and security? Nowhere else, can you find as many secure freeride zones within a ski domain. Come and discover Plan-du-Fou, the Gentianes, Chassoure, Mont-Gelé, vallon d’Arbi and col des Mines. So many legendary names, which will remain engraved in your memory for a long, long time. These itineraries are not prepared mechanically but secured in order to satisfy the most experienced and demanding of skiers.

Are you with your family? Nendaz has everything you need for perfect ski holidays. The beginner’s park on the frozen lake of Tracouet (2200m) or the one in Siviez will make your children love their first attempt to ski. A free magic carpet is also available in the centre of the resort for children to have fun either on their skis or with a sledge. You are a beginner? Our 5 ski schools will be delighted to help you with your first attempt on the slopes. They all offer private as well as collective lessons.

If you are not a ski addict, Nendaz can also be the right place for you. A wide choice of winter activities awaits you there. Have fun on the 3km sledging run, relax in the 2200m2 of the spa, or try out the 7 tracks dedicated to snowshoeing. Hike in the snowy mountain along the 17 secured paths, take part in their weekly activity program or simply enjoy the area’s various sunny terraces…

If you travel with public transport: land at the airports of Geneva, Zurich, Milan, Basle and Bern, then take the train to Sion and finally the bus up to Nendaz. There is also the possibility to land at Sion airport. If you travel by car; Nendaz is only 15 km away from the motorway and the main railway station. Take the A9 exit “Sion Ouest” then follow the direction “Nendaz.”

Dare to ski – Never skied before or taken a break so you’ve forgotten the basics? In January and March, Nendaz will help you take the step! The “Dare to ski” offer includes equipment rental, a 1-day ski pass and a 2 ski lesson of 2 hours for CHF 111.-.
Mud Day Winter Edition – Saturday 28 March 2020 – Think Tough Mudder but with snow, tackling 18 obstacles inspired by “assault courses”.
Nendaz Freeride – The Nendaz Freeride Elite is the most renowned event of the Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ), where athletse take on the spectacular face of the Mont-Gond. 13 to 21 March, with the big finale on the Saturday 21st of March.
Nendaz Spring Break – 11th April 2020 – Free concerts and entertainment on the pistes await visitors in Nendaz for its traditional end of season event.
