They’ve been selling 2016-17 ski season holidays since the end of 2015 but Crystal Ski Holidays, the UK’s largest ski holiday operator have just published their official main brochure for next winter (although they stopped calling it a brochure a few years ago, now it’s the Crystal Mountain Guide).
’Your Guide to the Mountain’ has 220 pages with information on the 129 resorts worldwide Crystal will offer holidays to next winter, with departures from 24 UK airports, St Pancras and Ashford rail stations as well as numerous ferry points.
New destination choices for next winter include Sun Peaks in Canada; Levi and Ylläs in Finland and Hochsölden in Austria. New flight routes include the use of the new scheduled service that has launched from London Heathrow to Salt Lake City to access Park City’s resorts as well as London Gatwick to Kittila with Thomson Airways for Levi and Ylläs; Aberdeen to Geneva with Easyjet and Norwich to Chambery with FlyBE.
Also new are Crystal childcare facilities in the Hotel La Brunerie in Les Deux Alpes, a Pepi Penguin nursery during the school term and a Whizz Kids Club for children aged 4-11 during school holidays.
Skiers heading to Switzerland will find transfers from Geneva and Zurich airports to all Swiss ski resorts will be by train instead of coach.
The company has a number of deals available as always including the chance to ‘Brexit-proof’ much of your ski holiday cost with a Crystal Ski Plus packages which include flights, transfers, local lift pass, ski/board hire or ski carriage and a week’s self-catering.
Prices for Crystal Ski Plus packages are from £479 per person based on four sharing on a holiday in Les Village du Bachart Apartments, Chamrousse, France departing 7 Jan 2017 with booking by 30 November 2016.
Price from £579 pp (two sharing) for a week’s bed and breakfast at the Pension Ferdinand, departing on 7 January 2017 from Gatwick including airport transfers.
Otherwise prices start at £349 per person (four sharing) for a week’s self-catering at the Aparthotel Eden in Les Arcs, France including return flights from London Gatwick to Chambery and transfers departing on 7 January 2017.
