The Snowbombing Festival – one of the longest established on the annual music-festivals-in-ski-resorts-calendar and the biggest returns to its regular venue of recent years in Mayrhofen, Austria next April 3rd-8th, 2017.
However the organisers have also announced the launch of a Canadian version of the festival next season too, Coors Light Snowbombing Canada which will run from 6-10 April 2017 – partially overlapping with the Austrian event.
This first ever edition of Snowbombing outside of Europe will take place at Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia.
“20 years ago when we started Snowbombing it was a very distant dream to one day do it in North America. Now, with the help of an iconic brand like Coors Light, that dream is to become a reality and we are so proud and excited to be able to launch Snowbombing, Canada in the superbly stunning Sun Peaks resort,” said Gareth Cooper CEO of Broadwick Live which runs the festival.
“Not only is this one of the best ski locations in Canada, but strangely it looks just like our Austrian home, Mayrhofen! We cannot wait to come and share our unique style of après ski and passion for music with the people of Canada,” added Mr Cooper.
