Chalet specialists Ski Total is expanding its programme in the Aosta Valley region next winter with the opening of the Chalet Hotel Breithorn in Champoluc.

The Chalet Hotel Breithorn builds on the success Ski Total’s sister company Esprit Ski experienced last season with the Chalet Hotel Valverde in Gressoney.

The Breithorn is a well-established hotel, full of charm, which has been beautifully restored and modernised, yet maintains its traditional Alpine features and character.   It will be run as a chalet hotel, so guests will experience all the benefits of a Ski Total package.

These include chalet board accommodation, with hot and cold breakfast, afternoon tea, five-course dinner and wine; a dedicated ski total resort team, free Wi-Fi and free ski hosting three days a week.

Champoluc is part of the Monterosa Ski area, a region known for its quiet slopes, stunning scenery, high-altitude runs and friendly locals. The slopes reach an altitude of 3,275m and are spread over three valleys, accessed by fast lifts and plenty of charming mountain restaurants.

From Champoluc village centre the main gondola departs to the Crest area and this is where the beginner’s slopes can be found. There are two conveyor lifts in this area and the local ski school has an excellent reputation so most novices should be able to ski over in to the Gressoney valley on their first week of skiing.

The Breithorn will be opening on 13 December 2014. The starting price for a week’s chalet board with flights and transfer is £589 per person.
