La Plagne is opening a network of zip wires as a new attraction for the coming winter
There are 10 wires to whizz down in total, six of which will be more than 110 metres long, the longest 200m, and many of the wires are situated 45 metres off the ground.
They have been installed and run from Belle Plagne to Plagne-Bellecôte, two high-altitude villages, and the new area also features spider nets, wooden bridges and a final nine-metre base jump.
Entrance to the zip wires will cost €29 per adult and €19 per child for a 90 minutes session.
The zip wires add to La Plagne’s ever growing list of non-ski winter attractions which also include the Olympic bobsleigh run and an artificial ice climbing tower.
