The Snow & Rock chain of stores, which incorporate Cycle Surgery and Runners Need, is reported to be likely to be put up for sale imminently according to reports in the Sunday Telegraph.
Snow & Rock is currently owned by private equity firm LGV Capital, part of Legal & General, who bought it in 2010, but the insurance giants are winding down its investment division and selling off its holdings according to the Sunday Telegraph.
Snow+Rock opened their first store on Kensington High Street in 1982, and has since grown to have 22 stores nationwide, including shops in two real snow venues and two boutique stores in partnership with The North Face.
