The epitome of Swiss Chocolate, Lindt, has opened a new shop 3,454 metres up in the fully renovated ‘Top of Europe’ at the Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest railway station above Wengen and Grindelwald in the Jungfrau.

The new Lindt Chocolate Shop is unsurprisingly the highest in the world and as providing an exclusive insight into the fascinating world of chocolate making by the famous Lindt Master Chocolatiers, visitors will be seduced by a free sample of the world-famous Lindt Chocolate.

The company has quite a lot to spare with 2.7 billion kilogrammes of Lindt choc produced in 2012 alone.

The new shop is part of a 12m Swiss franc renovation of the Jungfraujoch which has also seen new restaurants with giant floor to ceiling windows to help take in the spectacular views, and many other improvements.,

A small amount of summer skiing and boarding is possible here on a short run.
