A first new high-speed detachable quad chairlift is due to go into service at Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley this winter.
The lift, which will replace the Cha and Chamois drag lifts, is approximately 1,200m in length and will transport 2,000 passengers per hour. “This lift will open an entirely new space to skiers in the Cha/ Chamois sector,” said spokesperson Claire Burnet.
