Disability Snowsport UK Use Crowdfunding For Fundraising

Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) have launched a Crowdfunder Campaign hoping to raise £15,000 to run one ski school for a year.

Details of the campaign, which runs to May 27th, and what it pays for are available here.

DSUK relies on the support of donors to ensure that people with disabilities are not excluded from snowsport.  With the money raised, DSUK provide therapeutic, life-enhancing and exciting activities for individuals and groups who require adaptive equipment and special instruction and support.

Crowdfunder.co.uk is an alternative to sponsorship achieved through people backing a project with pledges of money and receiving a reward from DSUK in return that reflects the money contributed, as a way of ‘thanking’ the backers.

There are a number of attractive and exclusive awards on offer for a wide range of pledges, starting from as little as £5 and moving up to top-end company packages. However, Crowdfunder.co.uk is an ‘all or nothing’ platform – DSUK needs to raise 100% of the target to be successful to receive the monies pledged.
