Welcome to the new edition of
InTheSnow Ultimate Guide To Ski Accommodation. Once again we’re pleased to present a selection of the finest ski properties, across more than 50 top ski resorts in Europe and North America.
And by finest we certainly don’t mean the most expensive, nor – although many are – necessarily the most luxurious. Instead we mean the apartments, chalets and hotels that are the most dedicated to providing the best service, and all the facilities you need for a first-rate ski holiday. Within these pages you’ll find brand new complexes, with state-of-the- art facilities, next to equally well equipped hotels, which may have been owned and run by the same family over a century or more, through four or five generations.

Dominic Killinger - (Owner & Publisher) - Dominic made his debut on the BBC show Dragons Den 5 years ago and went on to sell his last business, providing wireless broadband onboard yachts in every one of the UK's largest and most prestigious marinas, to BT. The national press caught onto the launch of InTheSnow magazine as a result of his smart move with BT. Dominic has also made his mark in the online publishing world by creating an online sailing portal, which he also sold to A&C Black, Nautical Publishers.
Patrick Thorne - (News Editor) - Patrick has been a full time, year round, professional ski writer for 25 years. Nicknamed 'The Snow Hunter' he has located 6,000 ski areas in 80 countries and for the past decade has published a weekly bulletin of stories from ski resorts all around the planet, notching up more than 5,000 reports. He has written a dozen books on skiing, received several awards, had his work translated in to more than 20 languages and was named One of 20 People To know in Ski by The Times.
